Why StarBot?

The hospitality industry faces an unprecedented labor shortage. Meanwhile, customers expect faster, more consistent service than ever before. We founded StarBot to bridge this gap—not by replacing people, but by giving teams a tireless partner that handles the repetitive tasks so humans can focus on what matters: genuine hospitality.

Our journey started with a simple question: "What if robots could actually serve, not just deliver?"After months of R&D on the Unitree G1 platform and countless iterations, we built Nova—our first-generation humanoid service robot, designed from the ground up for restaurants, hotels, and beyond.

Our Journey: Research to Reality

We didn't just build a robot. We mastered the science of movement, then built the perfect vessel for it.

January 2025

The Beginning

Acquired the Unitree G1 as our primary R&D platform. This marked the start of our deep-dive into humanoid control theory.

June 2025

Mastering Movement

Achieved full dynamic bipedal balancing and complex dancing algorithms. Proven core capabilities in real-world physics.

October 2025

Precision Manipulation

Refined fine-motor dexterity algorithms, enabling the robot to perform precise grabbing and complex object handling tasks.

December 2025

Hardware Evolution

Launched StarBot Nova. We transitioned from bipedal testing to a stable wheeled base with two 7-DOF arms.

February 2026

Production Ready

Finalized the software migration to StarBot Nova. The algorithms honed on the G1 now power a robust service robot.
